Being a student and a parent can be challenging, but you don’t have to do it alone. Parents’ Place provides resources, peer support, and family-friendly activities that help you balance school, parenting, and life, so both you and your children can thrive.
Students will be able to:
Understand the purpose of Pierpont's Parents' Place.
Access online resources.
Engage with peer support.
Connect virtually through social media.
Integrate available supports to their academic and parenting life.
Pierpont’s Parents’ Place is part of the Support Services Office and is dedicated to supporting students who are raising children. We know that balancing school and parenting isn’t easy — that’s why we’ve created a range of resources and opportunities designed specifically for you.
There are three key parts to Parents’ Place:

Parents' Place Club - A peer support group for student-parents.
We’ve gathered a wide variety of free tools and resources, including:

We also know that time is limited, especially for parenting students who may be working or attending classes online. That’s why we created a Facebook group — so you can connect, ask questions, and get support on your own time, no matter where you are.
