Meeting Dates & Times
The guild meets the third Thursday of every month (except December):
Faith United Methodist Church
876 East Knox Street (corner of Knox and Day Streets)
Galesburg, IL
Doors open at 6:00 p.m.; program starts at 6:30 p.m.
Entry is through the "kitchen" door on the west side of the building. Parking available in the church lot and on the street.
Anyone with an interest in quilting is welcome to join! Dues are $30 for the calendar year. Members receive a booklet and enjoy reduced workshop/program fees.
In case of severe weather, if Galesburg area activities are canceled, we will not have a meeting. Please check Galesburg radio stations, or Quad Cities or Peoria news stations as they will be notified of area cancellations.
Piecemakers Quilt Guild was founded in 1998 and is for quilters of all skill levels, from Galesburg and surrounding areas.
The monthly meetings include a lecture or demonstration by a member or guest speaker, and, of course, Show & Tell.
We also have workshops throughout the year, ranging from beginning to specialized techniques; as well as UFO workshops; fabric or block exchanges; mystery quilt projects; charity quilt projects benefiting local fmailies and family support groups; and a bienniel quilt show.
