Privacy Policy for Pictomino
Last updated: July 28, 2026
ZektumGames ("we", "our") built Pictomino as a free mobile game. This page explains what information the game uses and how.
Information We Collect
Pictomino does not require an account. To provide online features, the game collects and stores on our servers:
- A randomly generated device identifier (used to recognize your device in online matches and the leaderboard; it is not linked to your real identity)
- Your player nickname (chosen by you, or an automatically generated name such as "Player1234")
- Game results (points, wins and losses) for the online leaderboard
Solo game progress (completed puzzles, unlocked themes, streaks, settings) is stored locally on your device only.
Advertising
Pictomino shows ads served by Google AdMob (Google LLC). Ads appear as optional rewarded videos (for example, to get an extra hint or an extra wheel spin) and occasional interstitial ads between puzzles. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect device information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and general app usage signals, as described in Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and how Google uses information from partner apps (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
- On iOS, the app asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before using your advertising identifier for personalized ads. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized.
- In regions where consent is required (e.g. the EEA/UK under GDPR), a consent form is shown before personalized ads are served. You can choose non-personalized ads.
- You can also limit ad personalization at any time in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking / Apple Advertising; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
We do not receive or store your advertising identifier on our own servers.
Photos
You can create puzzles from your own photos. Photos used in solo play never leave your device. If you host an online match with a friend using your own photo, that photo is uploaded to our secure server so that your opponent's device can display the same puzzle. Uploaded photos are used only for running the match, are not visible to anyone except match participants, and are never used for advertising or any other purpose. Photos are deleted automatically when the match room is closed, and in any case within 24 hours of upload.
Data Sharing
Your nickname and game results are visible to other players on the online leaderboard. A photo you host a match with is visible only to the players in that match. Apart from the advertising described above, we do not sell or share any data with third parties for advertising or marketing.
Third-Party Services
- Supabase (cloud database and storage) powers online features. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/WSS).
- Google AdMob serves in-game advertising (see "Advertising" above).
- GameAnalytics collects anonymous gameplay statistics (session length, level progress, ad views and basic device information) to help us improve the game, as described in the GameAnalytics Privacy Policy (https://gameanalytics.com/privacy/). This data is not linked to your real identity.
The app contains no other third-party services.
Children's Privacy
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Data Deletion
Uninstalling the app deletes all local game data. Uploaded match photos are deleted automatically when the match ends, and in any case within 24 hours. To request deletion of your other online data (nickname, scores), contact us at the address below and we will remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
