Learning Management System Knowledge & Experience

Moodle LMS - 10+ years experience as a teacher using Moodle as an LMS for teaching and learning activities. Have administrative experience for front-end and back-end support services to the LMS platform.  Coordinated and overseeing LMS administrators. 

Key tasks involved in;

• Moodle upgrade project for DWU (Moodle 3.5-3.9) 2021-2022

• Strong troubleshooting and technical skills including Linux command knowledge for back-end system management.

• Site redesign, plugin installments and overall site maintenance

• Course designs and site management restructure.

• Did the back-end connection between Moodle (Linux-Fedora) and Windows Server 2012 (Uni10 SIMS) for integration of Moodle and DWU Uni10 SIMS.

Canvas LMS - Used Canvas for 7+ years for the Cisco Academy network program CCNA R&Sv5, 6, 7 curriculum instructor as well as program administrator having access to administrative privilege on the LMS.

Some tasks involve;

• Creating/deleting of courses

• Adding/removing users

• Course page design and development

• General LMS management tasks.
