PRIVACY POLICY
PickPDF
Last updated: August 7, 2026
Flowbit Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the PickPDF mobile application (“PickPDF” or the “App”).
This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you use the App.
1. Privacy Summary
PickPDF is designed to convert photos into PDF documents primarily on your device.
The App:
- Does not require a PickPDF account or account sign-in;
- Does not upload selected photos or generated PDF contents to a Flowbit Labs server during normal use;
- Processes selected photos and creates PDF documents locally on your device;
- Stores generated PDFs and related records locally;
- Allows users to export, print, or share PDF documents; and
- May use third-party services for advertisements, purchases, app updates, reviews, diagnostics, or related functionality.
Third-party providers may process certain device, advertising, transaction, or diagnostic information according to their own privacy policies.
2. Information Processed by the App
2.1 Selected Photos
When you choose to create a PDF, the App allows you to select photos through the device’s system photo picker.
The App processes only the photos you select. Selected photos may be decoded, resized, rotated, cropped, filtered, reordered, or converted into PDF pages locally on your device.
Flowbit Labs does not receive or store the contents of selected photos on its own servers as part of normal App operation.
The App does not require access to your entire photo library when the operating system provides a system picker that allows access only to selected items.
2.2 Generated PDF Documents
Generated PDF documents are stored in the App’s local document storage.
When you export a file, an additional copy may be saved to the device’s Downloads/PickPDF folder. When you print, open, or share a PDF, the file or its contents are provided to the operating system and the destination application or service selected by you.
Flowbit Labs does not receive generated PDF contents unless you independently send a file to us, such as when contacting support.
2.3 PDF Passwords
If you use password protection, the password is processed locally to create the protected PDF.
The App does not intentionally upload the password to Flowbit Labs. PickPDF does not store the password as part of your default PDF settings after document creation.
Flowbit Labs cannot retrieve or reset a forgotten PDF password.
2.4 Local File and Library Information
The App may locally store information needed to manage your PDF library, including:
- PDF filename or display name;
- Local file path;
- File size;
- Page count;
- Creation date;
- Whether a PDF is password-protected; and
- Information needed to locate, display, rename, export, share, or delete the file.
This information is stored on your device and is not routinely transmitted to a Flowbit Labs server.
2.5 App Preferences and Usage State
The App may store local preferences and operational information such as:
- Language preference;
- Default PDF settings;
- Advertising or rewarded-access status;
- Cached purchase or Pro entitlement status, if applicable;
- App launch and review-prompt counters;
- Update-related settings; and
- Other settings necessary for the App to operate.
This information is generally stored through local application preferences.
2.6 Support Communications
If you contact Flowbit Labs by email, we may receive your email address, message, attachments, and any information you voluntarily provide.
Please do not send sensitive photos, PDF documents, passwords, identification numbers, financial information, or other confidential material unless it is necessary for your support request.
3. Advertising and Google AdMob
The App may display banner, medium rectangle, rewarded, or other advertisements using Google AdMob or a comparable advertising provider.
Advertising providers may automatically collect or process information such as:
- IP address;
- Advertising identifiers or publisher-provided identifiers, where permitted;
- Device model, manufacturer, and operating-system information;
- App identifier and App version;
- Language and general regional information;
- Advertising impressions, clicks, reward events, and interactions;
- Network and connection information;
- Diagnostic, performance, and fraud-prevention information; and
- Approximate location inferred from an IP address.
This information may be used to provide, measure, limit, personalize, or secure advertisements, subject to applicable law, device settings, consent choices, and the provider’s policies.
Where required, advertising providers may offer consent or privacy controls. You may also be able to manage advertising personalization through your Android or Google account settings.
Google handles information according to its own policies:
Google Privacy Policy:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
Google Advertising Policies and Technologies:
https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
Flowbit Labs does not control Google’s independent data-processing and retention practices.
4. Rewarded Advertisements
Some App features or additional daily usage may be unlocked after you choose to view a rewarded advertisement.
The advertising provider may process ad-viewing, completion, reward, device, network, and fraud-prevention information to determine whether a reward should be granted.
The App may store the resulting reward or daily access state locally on your device.
5. In-App Purchases and Google Play Billing
Some versions of the App may offer optional purchases through Google Play Billing.
Google Play may process information such as:
- Google Play account information;
- Product and transaction identifiers;
- Purchase status;
- Country, currency, and pricing information;
- Payment and fraud-prevention information; and
- Information required to process, verify, restore, refund, or cancel a purchase.
Flowbit Labs may receive limited purchase information, such as a product identifier, purchase token, transaction status, or entitlement status. We do not directly receive or store your complete payment-card information.
Google processes purchase information under its own terms and privacy policies.
6. Analytics, Crash Reporting, and Diagnostics
PickPDF does not currently require a separate Flowbit Labs account or developer-operated analytics server for its core photo-to-PDF functionality.
The App, Google Play, advertising SDKs, or other third-party components may nevertheless process limited diagnostic information, such as App version, device type, operating-system version, error details, performance information, and crash information.
If separate analytics or crash-reporting services are enabled in a future release, this Privacy Policy and the App’s Google Play Data safety disclosures should be updated as required.
7. Permissions and Device Access
Depending on your device and operating-system version, the App may use or request access to:
Photos and Media:
Used to let you select photos for PDF creation. Where supported, PickPDF uses the system photo picker and receives access only to photos you select.
Files and Storage:
Used to create local PDF documents and export copies to the device’s Downloads/PickPDF folder. Modern Android versions may allow this through system storage APIs without granting broad access to all files.
Internet and Network State:
Used for advertisements, rewarded ads, purchases, app updates, in-app reviews, and other online third-party services. Core PDF processing is designed to occur locally.
Printing and Sharing:
Used only when you choose to print, open, or share a PDF. The destination application or service receives the information you decide to send.
PickPDF does not require microphone, contacts, precise location, or continuous background-location access for its core functionality.
8. How Information Is Used
Information may be processed to:
- Select, edit, arrange, and convert photos into PDF documents;
- Save, display, rename, delete, export, print, and share PDFs;
- Remember App preferences and default PDF settings;
- Provide advertisements and rewarded features;
- Process or restore purchases, if available;
- Provide App updates and in-app review features;
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and detect advertising or payment fraud;
- Diagnose technical issues and improve reliability;
- Respond to support requests; and
- Comply with legal obligations.
9. How Information Is Shared
Flowbit Labs does not sell the contents of your selected photos or generated PDF documents.
Information may be provided to or processed by:
Advertising Providers:
Google AdMob or comparable advertising partners may process advertising and device information.
Google Play:
Google Play may process information relating to distribution, updates, reviews, purchases, payments, security, and diagnostics.
Operating-System Services:
Android may process selected photos, file exports, printing, and sharing actions.
Destination Applications:
When you share, print, or open a PDF, the application or service you select receives the file or related information. Its own privacy policy applies after the information is transferred.
Service Providers:
Technical service providers may process limited information on our behalf if such services are introduced or enabled.
Legal and Safety Recipients:
Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, enforce our rights, investigate fraud or abuse, or protect users and the public.
Business Transfers:
Information under our control may be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
10. Data Storage and Retention
Selected photos are accessed as needed to prepare a PDF. Temporary or edited image files may remain in application or operating-system storage until removed by the App, operating system, cache cleanup, app-data clearing, or uninstallation.
Generated PDFs stored in the App remain until you delete them, clear App data, uninstall the App, or the device or operating system removes them.
Exported copies in Downloads/PickPDF may remain after you delete the App’s internal copy or uninstall the App.
Local PDF library metadata and preferences remain until you delete the relevant content, clear App data, or uninstall the App.
Support emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain support records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
Third-party providers retain information according to their own policies.
11. Data Deletion
You can manage local information by:
- Deleting a PDF from the App’s PDF library;
- Deleting exported copies from the Downloads/PickPDF folder;
- Deleting copies stored in destination or sharing applications;
- Clearing PickPDF’s application data through Android settings; or
- Uninstalling the App.
Deleting a PDF from the App does not automatically delete exported, printed, backed-up, or shared copies stored elsewhere.
Uninstalling the App may remove App-private files and preferences, but it may not delete PDF copies exported to Downloads or transferred to other applications.
If you contact us by email and want us to delete support correspondence under our control, contact flowbitlabs@gmail.com. We may retain information where required by law or necessary for legitimate legal purposes.
12. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the App.
Local processing reduces the need to transmit photo and PDF contents to a developer server. However, no device, storage system, password, software, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for:
- Securing your device;
- Using a device lock;
- Choosing strong PDF passwords;
- Keeping backup copies of important documents;
- Reviewing sharing recipients; and
- Deleting files that are no longer needed.
13. International Data Processing
Third-party providers such as Google may process information in countries other than the country where you live.
Such processing is governed by the provider’s privacy policy and applicable data-transfer safeguards.
14. Children’s Privacy
PickPDF is a general productivity utility and is not specifically directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by applicable law.
We do not knowingly request children to create a PickPDF account or directly submit personal information to Flowbit Labs.
Parents or guardians should supervise a child’s use of photo, file, sharing, purchasing, and advertising features.
If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to Flowbit Labs, contact us at flowbitlabs@gmail.com.
15. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights concerning personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing.
Most PickPDF content is stored locally and can be managed directly through the App or your device settings.
You may also:
- Choose which photos to provide through the system photo picker;
- Decline to share or print a PDF;
- Delete locally stored PDFs;
- Remove exported files manually;
- Manage advertising settings through Android or Google settings;
- Manage Google Play payment and purchase settings through Google Play; and
- Stop using the App by uninstalling it.
To submit a privacy request concerning information held directly by Flowbit Labs, contact flowbitlabs@gmail.com. We may need to verify the request before responding.
16. Third-Party Links and Services
The App may link to Google Play, privacy-policy pages, advertisements, recommended applications, or other third-party content.
This Privacy Policy does not govern third-party websites, applications, advertisements, or services. Please review their privacy policies before providing information.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, third-party services, legal requirements, or data practices change.
The updated policy will include a revised “Last updated” date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
18. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, subject to mandatory privacy and consumer-protection laws that apply in your country or region.
