Are you Eligible for Government-Funded Physiotherapy?
Are you Eligible for Government-Funded Physiotherapy?
To be eligible, you must have a valid and non-expired (OHIP) Ontario Health Card and a Doctor's Referral.
Additionally, you must be either one of the following:
Age 65 or older
Age 19 or younger
Any age after an overnight hospital stay or an outpatient/day surgery procedure for a condition requiring physiotherapy
A recipient of the Ontario Works or the Ontario Disability Support Program
*** If you are not listed above, the government will not cover your physiotherapy.
*YOU MUST BRING YOUR valid Ontario non expired Healthcard AND Referral TO YOUR FIRST ASSESSMENT FOR OHIP COVERAGE. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN THE RESCHEDULING OF YOUR APPOINTMENT.
