자가면역질환 및 분비관련 질환치료와 기능회복 연구수행. 세포막 수송체의 새로운 기전 및 기능을 관절변형 및 피부건선 질환에 적용하여, 각 타겟의 치료의 효과를 증대시키는 연구를 진행중이다. 또한 세포 내 신호전달계인 칼슘신호전달 체계 및 이온수송체 단백질 조절을 통해 난치성 질환의 생리학적 기전 규명을 위한 연구를 수행중이다.
