There are two exams in the course; both worth the same amount of points. The Midterm has a time-limit of 2.5 hours, and the Final Exam has a time-limit of 3 hours. Both are closed book/note/outside resources. Only one question is displayed at a time, and no backwards progress is allowed. Exams are not proctored and are open for a period of week; you can take the exams anytime during that week. The Final Exam has a small cumulative portion (~25% of the exam) that covers the most challenging content from the Midterm.
Each week you will watch two or three lecture videos. Embedded in this video are quizzes that you will take to earn 5 points per video. These quizzes are graded on participation only and should be a straightforward 5 points.
These are virtual labs (besides the blood typing lab) that will be completed online. Information on how to complete the lab is provided in the lab manual on Canvas.
Each week you will have a discussion prompt for you to answer. Your initial post is due by the end of Friday. By the end of Sunday, you must reply to two of your classmates. Specifics about length and the rubric can be found in the instructions for the discussion board.
Completing this module on Canvas is mandatory to stay in the class.
