Thank you for your interest in PHS Theater!  We welcome ALL students to find their creative energy, whether it is on stage, behind the scenes in tech, or possibly in the pit orchestra!

We produce 5 productions a year:

• Fall Play

• (2) Chamber Theater Productions

• Competitive One Act Play (Sponsored by MSHSL)

• Spring Musical

Auditions for the Fall Play are typically held within the first week or two of school.  Auditions for the Chamber Theater productions and the One Act Play are typically held sometime in November and for the Spring Musical are typically held at the beginning of February.  At auditions for our productions, students are generally asked to read sides from the play with the directing team, and may be called back to audition with others (not all productions hold callbacks). Participation in a production typically is at least an 4-8 week commitment, depending on the production, with some potential evening/weekend rehearsals. 

As always, there are plenty of opportunities for students who would like to help out behind the scenes. Set construction, lights, sound, stage management, costumes, make-up, etc. are examples of these behind the scenes jobs!  Be sure to attend informational meetings if you are planning to participate onstage or backstage!
