PhotoVid Compress (“the App”) is designed to process photos and videos on your device.
1. Local processing
Media you select is compressed and stored using on-device processing. Core compression does not require an internet connection and does not upload your photos or videos to our servers.
2. What we collect
We do not require an account. We do not operate a backend that receives your media for compression. We do not sell personal data.
If you contact us by email, we only use the information you include in that message to reply.
3. Device permissions
• Photo Library — to let you choose photos/videos and optionally save results to Photos.
Permissions are requested only when needed. You can revoke them in iOS Settings.
4. Data stored on your device
Projects, drafts, and output files are saved in the App’s local storage on your device. Uninstalling the App removes that local data (subject to normal iOS behavior).
5. Analytics & tracking
This privacy draft assumes no third-party advertising SDKs and no cross-app tracking. If you later add analytics or crash reporting, update this policy and App Store privacy labels accordingly.
6. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy for future use of the App.
