Task 1.1 TiHO materials-synthesis and characterization
Synthesis method: Thermal treatment in argon atmosphere
TiHO materials were synthesis using TiO2 Degussa P25 and TiO2 sol-gel using titanium isopropoxide (TTIP), ethanol and HNO3. The powder was thermal treated in different conditions, T=400....800°C, 6h in vid and Argon atmosphere.
Photocatalysis experiments
Pollutant: imidacloprid 10….40 mg/L
Photocatalyst concentration: 0.6 g/L powder
Radiation: UV (180W), UV (100W) +VIS (180W)
Time: 0…6h irradiation
Equipment: annular photoreactor.
Pollutant concentration evaluation: HPLC analysis
Photodegradation efficiency: η % = [(c0 – c)/c0 ]· 100
