Your private vault
Photo Locker imports the photos and videos you select into encrypted storage on your Android device. Media files, thumbnails, filenames, albums, tags and vault preferences are stored locally. Your PIN and recovery key protect access; we do not receive your PIN, recovery key or vault encryption keys. No Photo Locker account or cloud-backup service is provided.
Import, export and backups
Import keeps your original gallery files. Export writes a decrypted copy to the destination you choose; that copy is outside the vault’s protection. Encrypted backups are stored at your chosen destination. System pickers or destinations may be operated by third-party cloud providers under their own policies. Protect both your backup and recovery key.
Ads and purchases
Google advertising and billing SDKs are included. Development builds use Google test ads on the public premium screen after consent checks; production advertising and purchases remain disabled until configured. If ads are enabled, Google may process device, network, ad-interaction and diagnostic information under its policies and your consent choices. Private media, filenames, PINs and recovery keys are never supplied to advertising or billing SDKs. Verified premium access removes ads. Optional yearly subscriptions use Google Play; when enabled, purchase tokens, package and product identifiers are sent to the verification service to validate entitlement. Payment information is handled by Google Play. No purchase verifier is active in the current unconfigured build.
Permissions and protection
Photo selection and file destinations use Android’s system picker. Biometric unlock uses Android’s protected biometric/Keystore APIs; fingerprint templates are not collected by Photo Locker. Internet access supports configured public links, advertising and billing. Screen-capture protection is enabled for app screens, but an unlocked session or a compromised device remains a risk.
Retention and deletion
Vault data stays on your device until you remove it. Trash retains vault copies until you choose permanent deletion. Uninstalling deletes local vault data; original gallery files, exported files and external backups remain at their destinations. We cannot remotely recover or delete your local vault. You can remove external backups and exports through their storage provider. There is no Photo Locker account to delete.
Support and your choices
Emailing contact@nextapps.tech shares the message and any attachments you choose to send with our support team and email provider. Information is used to respond and resolve the request and retained as necessary for that purpose and applicable obligations. Do not send PINs, recovery keys or private media. Contact us for privacy enquiries or deletion of support correspondence. Where advertising is enabled, use the offered consent/privacy controls.
Children and updates
The app is not directed to children. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal information to support. This policy may be updated when features or data handling change; the effective date will be revised. Review the store disclosures and policy before using a new release.
