Photo Collage Maker
Effective date: October 11, 2026
Photo Collage Maker (the "App") is provided by Goutom Dhar, an independent developer ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how we and our service providers use it, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to this policy.
Contact: goutom.developer@gmail.com
The App needs access to your photo library so you can pick photos for your collages and save finished collages back to it. You choose which photos to use, and you can limit access to selected photos in iOS Settings.
Photo editing, including the AI Cutout (background removal) feature, runs on your device. Your photos and finished collages are not uploaded to our servers.
Drafts and settings are stored locally on your device.
We do not access your camera.
a. Device and app identifiers. Device identifiers (such as an app-specific install ID and, if you allow tracking, the Advertising Identifier), device model, iOS version, language/region, and app version. A random install ID is also stored with our database so we can count unique installs.
b. Usage and diagnostics. Screens viewed, features used (for example saving or sharing a collage), settings, performance data, and crash reports. We use this to understand how the App is used, fix bugs, and improve it.
c. Purchase information. If you subscribe or buy a pro feature, the App Store processes your payment. We receive information about your subscription (such as product, status, and dates) and a pseudonymous user ID, but not your payment card details. This is linked to your user ID so we can restore your access.
d. Advertising data. The free version of the App shows ads. Our ad partners may collect your device identifiers, approximate location (derived from your IP address), and ad interactions to show and measure ads (see Section 5).
e. Ad attribution. To measure whether our own ads brought you to the App, we use Apple Search Ads attribution and campaign details passed through links (for example from Google Ads). We store the first source that brought you to the App.
f. Feedback you send us. If you send feedback through the App or contact us, we receive your message together with technical details to help us respond: app version, number of app opens, whether you are a subscriber, country/region, device model and iOS version, and your pseudonymous user ID. Feedback sent from inside the App is delivered to our team through Slack.
g. Notifications. If you allow notifications, we use a push token to send reminders and tips (for example, a reminder to finish a collage draft, or a suggestion to try a feature). You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings.
h. AI stickers and backgrounds (Image Playground). On supported devices the App lets you create AI stickers and backgrounds with Apple's Image Playground. This opens Apple's own interface on your device. What you type or choose there is handled by Apple, and by any third-party service you choose to enable in iOS Settings, under Apple's terms and privacy policy, not by us. The App does not receive your prompts or send them anywhere. It receives only the finished image, which is stored on your device and used in your collage.
i. Stock photos. If you search for stock photos in the App, your search terms are sent through our server to Unsplash to return results.
j. Content downloads. Templates, frames, stickers and similar content are downloaded from our content servers when you use them. Standard connection information such as your IP address is visible to those servers.

App Tracking Transparency. On iOS, the App asks for your permission before tracking you across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", the Advertising Identifier is not used for that purpose. You can change this anytime in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Consent form. Where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK), the App shows a consent form for ads and data use before ads are personalized.
Notifications. Manage in Settings > Notifications.
Photos. Manage in Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos.
Analytics and advertising. You can limit ad personalization in iOS Settings and Google's ad settings.
We share information only with service providers that help us run the App. They process data under their own privacy policies:
Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, App Check, Installations) — Usage analytics, crash reporting, configuration, install counting, push notifications, app security
Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform — Ads and consent management
Google Ads — Attribution of Google ad campaigns
Apple (Apple Search Ads / AdServices, App Store, StoreKit) — Ad attribution, payments, subscriptions
RevenueCat — Subscription and purchase management
Superwall — Paywall presentation and experiments
Apple Image Playground (Apple Intelligence) — Creating AI stickers and backgrounds in Apple's own interface; processed by Apple, not by us
Unsplash — Stock photo search
Slack — Delivering feedback messages to our team
Content delivery providers — Hosting downloadable templates, frames and stickers
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users' safety.
Local data (drafts, settings, preferences) stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Some settings may sync across your devices through your own iCloud account.
We keep analytics, purchase and feedback records only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law, and then delete or anonymize them.
Information held by third-party providers is subject to their retention policies.
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK, California and other US states), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. To exercise these rights, email goutom.developer@gmail.com and include your user ID if you have it (visible in the support email template in the App). We will respond within the time required by law. You may also contact your local data protection authority.
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK where local law requires), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
The App may link to third-party sites or services (for example social media pages or Unsplash). We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be shown in the App.
