Good afternoon and thank you for taking the time to look over my website. My name is N1k but you probably already know that because you found this on Linkedin. Because I am looking to advance my career in cyber security,I try to limit the amount of times I have to use my real name or something similar. Because of this, all of my social media and programming signatures are 'phoer20' 4-20 spelt with a ph.
I have always been interested in programming and code. Because I have been a full time student and working full time hours, it has been hard to mess around with it as a hobby but I love doing it. Over the years I have been learning slowly and slowly. I think the passion started around 2020. When Covid was happening and I did not have much to do. I was journaling along the way too and due to this I started a second blog and I hope that I can turn this into a cybersecurity journaling project.
I will try to keep this website as organized as possible. It is already kind of all over the place but as time goes on, I will get it down. I am sure this won't be my first website that I create either. Along with this though, I would love to use this as a resume. It is kind of embarrassing that my username from my middle school playstation days is my github username now but I look at is as kind of nostalgic.
The other thing that I will be using this website for is to store anything that I need quick access to over time. Projects, code, playbooks, outlines etc. I have come up with a few projects since I finished my intro to cyber security course. Now it is time to knock out my CompTIA+ and become an official 'hacker'.
With the love for technology came the love for cryptocurrency. Around the time that I originally got into coding, I started to dig into the world of NFTs, Bitcoin, Ethereum and just the whole market. It was pretty astonishing to see that I was buying NFTs right before the Bored Apes popped off. I was lucky to take advantage and make a little bit of money but it was more about the journey and the experience along the way. Here we are now in 2024 and NFTs are worthless. But most people kind of have an idea of what an NFT is even if they do not fully understand. It is cool to know that i was here in the space before it was cool. And I have reciepts. Opensea has a join date on profiles so it is hard to miss who has been in the space for a while and who has not. 'The blockchain never lies. Just follow the money.'
