I got the chance to camp outside to Bishop, CA in a section of the eastern Sierra foothills called Buttermilks. The area is know for its rock climbing opportunities, so despite my non-acclimated lungs I scaled up this sandy hill one sunset and put a rock on top of the cairn at the "summit." Unfortunately I did not bring a photo-taking device to document the breath-taking 360 degree sunset.
