Hello Aquatics Family!
My name is Gina Murphy and I am the President of the Premier Aquatics Booster Club.
We are looking forward to starting our 2018-2019 Aquatics seasons. Part of PABC’s mission is to support all aquatics sports at Patrick Henry through fundraising as well as coach, school administration and player liaison plus much more.
GIRLS WATER POLO and SWIM 2018/19 SEASONS, BOYS WP OPENS FALL 2020 - Vice Presidents: We are always looking for the next motivated parents to take over as current VPs move on with their kids. For example, if your child plans to swim for next 2 - 4 years you are a perfect candidate. VPs liaison with coaches, parents and the rest of the board. They assist in fundraising and volunteer coordination. VPs update schedules and manage uniform ordering. You can Co-VP if you want to spread out the duties!
President of PABC - OPEN 2019 : "Aquatics" is a yearlong season unlike other high school sports. President is liaison with the School Administration. Runs monthly board meetings to coordinate with board members and members at large as well as parents. The best candidate is one who can spend the next few years in this position but that is not a requirement.
Secretary - OPEN 2019: Responsible for Minutes at each board meeting and other record keeping.
Treasurer - OPEN 2020: All bookkeeping and accounting for the board, check writing and monthly/annual budget reports. Experience not necessary but very helpful.
Website/Social media coordinator - OPEN 2020: Maintains and updates websites and all other social media sites, coordinates will all board members on content.
Members at large (2) - OPEN: Helpful members who help take on volunteer work, fundraising and coordination with the board.
Grossmont Center Holiday Wrapping Coordinator - OPEN: Attend approximately 4 meetings October - January. Coordinate wrapping dates, schedule volunteers and inform board.
Back to School Night Food Booth Coordinator - OPEN: In June contact school and request booth for September booth. Coordinate food pick up, volunteers and food sales night of.
Dine Out Coordinator - OPEN: Contact restaurants and plan dates and times of fundraising done outs
Football Game Food Sales - OPEN for Fall 2019: Volunteer to help sell snacks during Henry home games.
PABC supporters - ALWAYS OPEN: if time is an issue there are plenty of events through the year where we just need a helping hand for a day or two. Please stay connected via the team page, website or Facebook to learn about those opportunities as the arise.
