Despite all the rain, change craziness and wind during setup, the glow ride was a great time!!! Kids had a blast and Ron and I are Phelan so lucky to have a community like this! THANK YOU to everyone!

****10/18; 12pm/Noon Update***

Well, we all knew going into today it wasn't going to look pretty and it sure isn't. With storms and lingering showers forecasted (actually says 100% rain from 4-7pm) we feel it is best, and safest, to move the glow ride to TOMORROW, Sunday, 10/19. We will ALSO move the time up to 5pm for games/decoration, with the ride starting a little after 7pm (when it gets dark enough). We are moving time up to accommodate those who work on Monday or for non-Parkway students. Again we apologize for the inconvenience  but  when we hit a roadblock we just glow around it! We can't wait to see everyone tomorrow (bundle up as Fall may actually come tomorrow).    ~ Abigail and Ron Finney

*** 10/17; 2:45pm Update*** We are so excited about the Phelan the Glow Ride this weekend! Over 50+ riders have registered! However as many of you are aware, our weather forecast isn't in our favor (go figure, drought for months and then rain on this day). Our plan is as follows: 

1. Our goal is to maintain safety for the event. We can't have wet streets and a lot of the pre-ride glow games are in the grass field , so we must take that into consideration. 

2. We will watch the weather diligently on Saturday and evaluate the situation (my older brother is a meteorologist so hopefully we can gain some insight by midday). 

3. We will make a call out about cancellation and text that out to the number registered between 1pm-2pm on Saturday. 

4. Our inclement weather plan has been posted on the website, if we are forced to cancel we will do the Glow ride on the following night (10/19). We may move the start time up a bit to allow for kids and parents to get more sleep since it is a Sunday night.
