Who we are:
Who we are:
We are the Husky Helpers, a group of parents, teachers, and community members who are passionate about supporting Pleasant Hill Elementary School in Leander, Texas. We collaborate to create extraordinary experiences for the school community.
Volunteers must be approved by Leander ISD for each school year to work on campus. You do not need to be an approved volunteer to donate. Become a LISD volunteer.
This is an ever-evolving website and details about the 2026-2027 school year are being added; please check periodically for updates.

Our annual tradition of writing positive messages on the sidewalks leading to the school before the first day of school! Bring your chalk and water bottles.

The traditional first day of school event, hosted by the PTO, for adults after they drop off children in classrooms. We will be at the front of the school with coffee, light refreshments, and tissues. All are welcome, especially those with children attending PHE for the first time (PreK and Kinder) and the last (5th).

Join the Husky Helpers and other invited guests as we kick-off the new school year! You will have the opportunity to learn more about the PTO committees, including Watch DOGS, and groups around the school and community. We will be providing pizza, so RSVP and come hungry.

Join us on Wednesday, September 9 at Culver's in Leander for a Spirit Day/Night from 3pm - 10pm. Mention PHE at checkout and put your name and order total on the sign-in sheet.
Culver's will generously give back 20% of sales to Husky Helpers PTO and support the staff and students at Pleasant Hill Elementary.
