RATIONALE

The University of the Immaculate Conception-Graduate School Studies aims to produce globally competitive graduates in their specialized areas. Students pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Education majoring in Mathematics must participate in an internship program as part of their course completion.

This year, the internship program takes the form of International Educational Travel, providing students with firsthand experience related to their course of study. The program includes an internship in Thailand, a neighboring ASEAN country, where students will engage in panel discussions, workshops, and benchmarking activities.

This internship is not just a requirement but an opportunity for students to gain practical skills. It presents an excellent chance for students to enhance their teaching skills and professional practice in teaching mathematics education, managing academic programs, and learning innovative approaches to address current challenges.
