Dwight Tse is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor equivalent) at the Department of Psychological Sciences and Health, University of Strathclyde. Dwightcompleted his Ph.D. in Positive Developmental Psychology at Claremont Graduate University, supervised by Profs. Jeanne Nakamura and Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi. Before joining Strathclyde, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Chinese University of Hong Kong with Prof. Helene Fung.
Dwight's research interests range from positive psychology and well-being science to ageing and lifespan developmental psychology. Broadly defined, his research investigates the dispositional and situational factors that contribute to a good life across the lifespan.
Hi, I’m Jiawan. My research focuses on mindfulness-based interventions to support international students’ mental health, addressing cultural adaptation, language barriers, and loneliness, with the aim of fostering resilience and well-being in academic settings.Â

Hi, my name is Spence, and I am a first-year PhD Student in Psychology at the University of Strathclyde. I am specifically interested in researching the facilitators of posttraumatic growth in individuals bereaved by suicide. Outside of my studies, I love writing music and being in nature.

Hi, my name is Rachel. I am a 4th year psychology student at Strathclyde University. I am currently undergoing a dissertation project exploring flow experience and social anxiety. My main interests within psychology are clinical psychology and sports psychology. In my free time I am a competitive figure skater and dancer.  Â
Emma Anderson
 Hi, I'm Emma, a 4th year Psychology student. Last year in the Lab I was  involved in a collaboration between the PHD Lab and the Strathclyde Disability and Wellbeing Service. This year I am researching older gamer lifestyles and working on my dissertation which explores the links between stress, uplifts, physical health and subjective ageing. At Strathclyde I'm also a member of the Concert Band and Christian Union.Â
Forbes Prentice
Hi, I'm Forbes and I'm a 4th year studying BA Psychology. I'm part of the internship team conducting a meta-analysis on the relationship between flow state and student performance and student motivation. I'm particularly interested in health psychology and enjoy playing sports in my spare time.

Hi, I’m Saira. I am in 4th year of BA Hons Psychology and currently volunteering in the PHD lab as a statistical consultant. I am considering a career in Health Psychology. For my dissertation, I’m investigating solitude and aims to explore its positive affects vs negative affects. For leisure, I enjoy cooking, crochet, and henna art.Â

Hi, I’m Emily, a 3rd Year Psychology student. I joined the lab as a research intern, and I am currently working on researching relationships with virtual agents. I am also involved in the collaboration between the PHD Lab and Strathclyde University Disability and Wellbeing Service. I am most interested in mental health as well as positive psychology. Outside of my studies, I love reading and making art.

Hi, I'm Maddie and I am a 3rd Psychology Student. I am most interested in clinical and social psychology and I am currently involved in a collaboration between the PHD Lab and the Strathclyde University Disability and Wellbeing Service. At Strathclyde I am also part of the cheerleading society and I also enjoy playing the piano and spending time with freinds and family in my free time!Â

My name is Nathan and I am a fourth year undergraduate psychology student. I am particularly interested in neuropsychology relating to health and wellbeing. Outside of university, I spend my time running and competing in races, working part time at a whisky bar, as well as playing guitar.Â

Hi, my name is Robyn, and I am a 4th year Psychology Dissertation student. My interests in Psychology are primarily to do with mental health and social psychology. In the future however I am looking to go down the path of forensic psychology. I am currently working on my dissertation which is based on an experienced sampling study that involves looking at positive loneliness and solitude and what effects this can have on mental health and motivation. Hi, my names Fern and I’m a final year Psychology student at the university of Strathclyde. I have particular interests in mental health, positive wellbeing and trauma. I am currently working within the lab to complete my dissertation which explores the associations between traumatic life events, daily stressors or uplifts and subjective ageing in older adults, through a 14 day daily diary study. Â
