Christian Klinkenberg (b. 1976) is a composer of new music and multimedia artist. Klinkenberg's artistic interests stem from contemporary composition concepts, jazz and improvisation. Ensembles across the European Union have performed Klinkenberg's music. In 2001 he founded his Jazz ensemble "Christian Klinkenberg Orchestra."
Benno Bartsch (Jazzpodium 06/2016) wrote "... Christian Klinkenberg uses very sophisticated concepts, but his music doesn't sound abstract or intellectualised; Klinkenberg produces a warm, soft sound that is also very easy to listen to ...”] ”.
Klinkenberg is a member of the East-Belgian based ensemble “KL-EX” where he serves as one of the ensemble leaders, composer and creative collaborator.
