We've Been There Since Phase 1
I'm Jasmaih (Jazz) Oberoi, a passionate and dedicated student about to enter my sophomore year at Montgomery Bell Academy. With a strong aptitude for math, I am currently advancing to pre-calculus, which enables me to teach this subject effectively. Alongside my proficiency in math, I possess a deep understanding of history, making me a valuable resource for those seeking guidance in this area. I am also fluent in four languages: English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Chinese. My diverse skill set and enthusiasm for sharing knowledge make me an exceptional teacher in both math and history. In my free time, I enjoy practicing baseball and staying active. Recently, I was awarded a $5200 grant to attend an advanced summer residential college program in math at Duke University, reflecting my dedication to academic growth. Additionally, my passion for history and mock trial led to me receiving a $1800 grant for a summer college program focused on mock trial training at UCLA, highlighting my commitment to academic excellence and leadership. I am proud to have been honored with the Pace Weber Leadership Award at Palmer Trinity Middle School in June 2022, recognizing me as a role model actively engaged in both the academic and athletic community while making meaningful contributions to the broader community.
