What to Expect

What items you get:

• • Two scheduled 10 minutes breaks (the computer will ask you when you want to take a break)  that DO NOT run into your exam time. If you don’t come back before that time ends, then it does eat into your exam time.

  • 4-5 LONG pieces of laminated graph paper, probably legal sized

  • A vis-a-vis pen (make sure to ask them to check that it is not dry if they don’t already do so)

  • A BASIC calculator if you request one. The scientific calculator is virtual only and included within the exam software.

  • Earplugs (and sometimes headphones) to help avoid sound distractions

Check in info:

• • ID (typically government issued)

  • Body checks → Don’t worry, they do not touch you. But they do require that you do a self-pat down in front of them, lift up your hair (normally if it is long) to check in the back of your head, and to roll up your sleeve to check for any writing on your hands/arms.
