Please note the following information:
Units → Helps focus on what information you need to get the correct answer (even if you are not sure what the question is asking) and helps eliminate obvious answers.
Rounding → Do not round until the end! You can do all the steps correctly and get an answer outside the accepted range if you round too soon. This means using lots of parenthesis as much as possible when entering into the calculator. If this is not possible (happens with multi-step problems), then keep as many decimal places as you possibly can.
Pearson Vue Exam Software Demo → This is a demo of the program that Pearson Vue uses for the exam. I highly encourage you to play around with the buttons to get familiar with the exam software’s functions/capabilities. It has the EXACT calculator you will be using on the exam. Due note that I don’t think that “scratch pad” was there when I took the Naplex: https://www.pearsonvue.com/athena/athena.asp
Check each step carefully! If you are uncertain about an answer, try solving it in an alternative way. Otherwise, do not waste your time solving twice.
Double check your answer for units and rounding!
