PhD Candidate at Monash Business School
I am a PhD candidate in Economics at the Centre for Health Economics at Monash University, Australia, where I am also a recipient of the Donald Cochrane Fellowship.
My research lies at the boundary between industrial organisation and health economics. My current research focuses on firm behaviour and market structure under shocks, using large administrative microdata and modern causal inference methods, with an emphasis on policy-relevant questions in health and development.
I hold a Bachelor of Natural Resources Economics from the National Economics University in Vietnam and a Master’s in Analysis and Policy in Economics (APE) from the Paris School of Economics in France. After graduating, I worked as a researcher in environmental economics at the Université Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium and the Agence Française de Développement in France.
