Chopin Airport
Most aircrafts land at Warsaw Chopin Airport (www.lotnisko-chopina.pl), located about 10 km from the city centre (by suburban train).

Warsaw Modlin Airport
Warsaw Modlin Airport www.modlinairport.pl (located about 35 km north-west of the city centre – by suburban train). Most of the flights served by Warsaw Modlin Airport are operated by charter airline companies and the Ryanair airline.

By Train
Warsaw has three large railway stations serving international and domestic long-distance connections:
- Warszaw Centralna (Warsaw Central Station) - it is located in the heart of the city, and has very good connections with all districts of Warsaw, especially with our conference venue
- Warszawa Zachodnia (Warsaw West Station)
- Warszawa Wschodnia (Warsaw East Station) - it is located on the Praga side of the Vistula river.
Railway tickets can be purchased at the cash-only windows (kasa) at the stations, on the Internet (www.bilkom.pl) or at selected travel agencies. Tickets sold on the train are subject to an additional fee.
The most popular passenger sea routes connect Poland with Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland.
The voyage duration depends on the distance and the type of service – it usually takes between one and two days.

The easiest way to reach Warsaw by car is to take one of the four major European routes:
• from the north: Route A1 and A2 or E77 (S7) (from Gdańsk)

• from the south: Route A1 (from Czech Republic via Katowice), route E77 (S7) (from Slovakia via Kraków)
