We are a group of like-minded non-profits who came together to begin to solve the problem of “How might we give more students access to STEM Learning?”
challenge the traditional notions of who can teach STEM, where STEM learning can happen, and how we define success in STEM Education.
We believe that the future of STEM learning must center YOU as both learners and leaders. We want to reimagine the teacher/student power dynamic by honoring the expertise YOU bring to the table and asking YOU to be near- peer mentors to facilitate learning.
Our STEM Ambassadors are striving to be, and teach students to:
Be brave enough to try things that you aren’t sure will succeed because that’s how we learn what works and what doesn’t
Be strong enough to not give up when something is tough to master
Be wise enough to know that everyone has something to contribute to solving a problem
