On an annual basis, the Virginia Department of Education compiles an updated packet of educational resources and services available for students with sensory disabilities who are identified as deaf or hard of hearing or visually impaired. The revised October 2023 update, which includes guidance documents, information about state agencies (the Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind, the Virginia Department for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing, and the Virginia Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired), technical assistance centers, and professional education and training programs, can be found below:
