Our Mission

Building confident speakers, one voice at a time.

Who We Are

• UTOP Speaking Club is a supportive and engaging community for kids age 10+ to develop public speaking skills, confidence, and communication abilities.

• Founded by Vivian Kleiman, a student at Archbishop Mitty High School. She is part of the school’s speech and debate team. Vivian is also an athlete in diving and water polo, and a former artistic swimmer.
  Co-founded by Nolannie Duan.

• UTOP is proudly supported by the Pinot Gris Foundation.

What We Do

• Monthly Meetings (first meet on 2026/6/14)
  Each session includes:

  • Coaching – Learn practical speaking techniques

  • Speech – Practice speaking in a supportive environment

  • Feedback – Receive constructive, encouraging feedback

• Speech Competitions
  Opportunities to showcase progress and build confidence in a fun, motivating setting (Schedule: TBD)

• Guest Speakers
  Learn from experienced speakers and gain new perspectives (Schedule: TBD)

Program Details

• Next Meet: Aug 9th 2-3pm, Topic: My Summer

• Format: primary with In-Person class, online class will be provided in the near future

• In-Person Location:

  San Jose, CA 95128

• Tuition & Purpose:

• Completely Free on Year 2026

• Future plan:  $10 per class / $25 for any 4 classes (flexible, use anytime)

A small tuition helps students stay engaged and committed.
100% of all tuition will be donated to support local public programs and help expand access to youth speaking education.
