I'm currently a faculty member in physics & astronomy at the University of Missouri Saint Louis, and adjunct at Washington University, who has enjoyed being a regional scientific observer of (i) extraterrestrial and (ii) electronic materials, as well as a variety of other materials for nanoscopic investigation that have "walked in the door". I also enjoy applying mathematical tools to a wide range of cross-disciplinary challenges, including that of (iii) offering nanoscale exploration tools for industry & university researchers around the midwest, (iv) developing techniques for exploration of solids on the atomic scale, (v) modernizing content in science education, and (vi) study of correlation-based complexity on multiple scales of time and space that might bridge, rather than divide, the gap between cultures.
