Petuvio — Pet Sitting Manager Last updated: March 2026
Petuvio has no servers. Your business data (clients, pets, visits, invoices) lives on your device and nowhere else. We cannot see it, access it, or sell it because we never have it.
We collect anonymous usage data (like which screens you visit and how many clients you have) to improve the app. You can turn this off at any time. We also collect crash reports so we can fix bugs. That's it.
Petuvio is developed by Ricardo Cerqueira, an independent developer based in the United Kingdom. If you have questions about this policy, you can reach us at ricardomccerqueira@pm.me.
The following data is stored locally on your device in the app's private database. It is never sent to our servers because we do not have servers.
Business data: Clients, pets, visits, invoices, services, discounts, taxes, time off, and related notes.
Business profile: Your business name, contact details, logo, and invoice settings.
Preferences: Theme (light/dark/system), language, currency, default messaging app, and notification settings.
Device identifier: A randomly generated local ID used only inside the app to associate your data with your installation. This is not your Apple ID or any advertising identifier.
If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.
If you choose to enable backups, a copy of your database is uploaded to your own iCloud Drive or Google Drive account. This backup goes directly from your device to your cloud account. It does not pass through our servers. We cannot see, access, or read your backups.
You can disable backups, delete your cloud backup, or switch between iCloud and Google Drive at any time in Settings.
When adding a new client, you can choose to import their name, phone number, email, and address from your device's contacts. This requires your permission. Contact data is read once at the moment you choose to import — it is not stored, synced, or sent anywhere outside the app. If you don't use this feature, your contacts are never accessed.
We use PostHog (hosted in the EU) to collect anonymous usage data. This helps us understand how people use Petuvio so we can make it better.
What we collect:
Which screens you visit (e.g. "opened calendar", "created an invoice")
Aggregate counts (e.g. "scheduled a visit with 2 services and 3 pets")
Whether you used certain features (e.g. "has address: yes", "has notes: yes")
App version, device model, and operating system version
A randomly generated anonymous identifier (not your name, email, or Apple ID)
What we never collect:
Your name, email, phone number, or address
Your clients' names, contact details, or any personal information
The content of your notes, invoices, or any text you type
Your Apple ID, advertising identifier, or any cross-app tracking data
You can opt out of analytics at any time in Settings. When you opt out, no usage data is sent.
PostHog processes data in the European Union under their privacy policy: https://posthog.com/privacy
We use Sentry (hosted in the EU) to collect crash reports and error logs. This helps us find and fix bugs.
What crash reports contain:
Error messages and stack traces (technical information about what went wrong)
Device model, operating system version, and app version
A randomly generated anonymous identifier
What crash reports never contain:
Your business data, client information, or any personal content
Your name, email, or contact details
You can also send us feedback directly from Settings. This is entirely voluntary — when you submit feedback through Sentry's feedback widget, you choose what to write.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives your anonymous app user ID and subscription status from Apple or Google. We do not receive or store your payment details, credit card number, or billing address. Apple and Google handle all payment processing.
RevenueCat's privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy/
When you message a client from Petuvio (via SMS or WhatsApp), the app opens your device's messaging app with a pre-filled message. The message is sent through your phone's messaging service, not through Petuvio. We do not see, store, or have access to your messages.
We believe your data is yours. You can:
Export all your data to a spreadsheet format at any time from Settings → Account → Request all data.
Delete all your data from Settings → Account → Delete all data. This permanently removes everything from the app.
Delete your cloud backup from Settings if you have backups enabled.
If you delete the app from your device, all local data is removed. Your cloud backup (if any) remains in your iCloud Drive or Google Drive until you delete it yourself.
Petuvio is a business tool for pet sitters. It is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

No business data (clients, pets, visits, invoices) is ever sent to any of these services.
Your data is stored in an encrypted SQLite database in the app's private storage on your device. Other apps cannot access it. Cloud backups are protected by your iCloud or Google account security. We recommend using a strong password and two-factor authentication on your Apple or Google account.
Under GDPR and UK data protection law, you have the right to:
Access your data — use the export feature in Settings.
Delete your data — use the delete feature in Settings, or simply delete the app.
Opt out of analytics — toggle it off in Settings.
Complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your data rights have been violated.
Because we do not store your business data on our servers, most data rights are already in your hands by design.
If we make changes to this policy, we will update the "last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we will notify you through an in-app message.
