Dog Expo Siem Reap 2022
Dog Expo Siem Reap 2022
An entrepreneur, dog trainer, photographer, filmmaker, traveler, and coffee enthusiast, he was also known as Cambodia's Dog Whisperer and Cesar Milan's protégé on the National Geographic Channel's Cesar's Recruit Asia.
While competing on the show, Rattana faced off against other dog trainers from across Asia. Despite not taking the crown, the experience made him more committed to becoming a professional dog trainer as he is today. Originally from Battambang Province, Rattana's interest in dogs began in his teenage years and after moving to America. As a result of his eagerness to learn, he started volunteering with various organizations and later enrolled at a dog training school to learn more about dog psychology, behavior, and body language. He attended training seminars in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand before returning to Cambodia in 2014 to further enhance his skills. It is not surprising that business has caught quickly in the Kingdom because of Rattana's devoted passion and impressive portfolio. Currently, he offers private consulting services and holds workshops about dog guard training at schools. Aside from that, he is also a top trainer for the Cambodian Police Academy's canine unit. For Rattana, dogs are an integral part of the community. They are more than just home pets, more than bomb detectors, and more than rescuers.
Originally from India, he has been living in Cambodia for many years as an engineer and now works for an IT company based in Poipet City.
Since his childhood days, Vignesh has always been passionate about dogs, and so as his family. From the age of 16, Vignesh has been involved in dog shows, attending the event as an audience, and most of the time as a participant. Because of his enthusiasm and dedication, the majority of his pets had participated in canine events all over the world, namely in the USA, the Philippines, Ukraine, Brazil, Mexico, India, and the Kingdom of Thailand.
Vignesh has proven himself as a Champion breeder by producing twenty-three champions over his illustrious career, specializing inbred Dachshunds of all varieties: Doberman, Labrador, Huge, Husky, German shepherd, Golden, Beagle, and Poodle. As of Vignesh's count, there are over twenty more dogs waiting to participate in dog events. He could have won awards and recognition for most of his awaiting dogs if not for the pandemic. He is excited to be a part of the Pet Expaw Season 1 and other future dog events in the Kingdom.

Artist, entertainer, bass player, and at the same time the house manager of Soun Sangkheum (Garden of Hope) Dog Agility Park located in Chey Village, Siem Reap City.
Her fascination with animal pets, particularly cats and dogs, began in the Philippines when she was in her teens. When she was stationed in Malaysia and Indonesia as an entertainer, she and John (her husband) were dog owners for many years. Because of a tragic experience, she promised herself she would not own any pets again. She confessed that one day after returning home from work, her pet dog was nowhere to be found in their garden. A sad story that she doesn't want to experience again, she added. As a personal recollection, Malou said that while it is true that the Pandemic has caused dismay to many, it was also a blessing in disguise for her in a form of therapy. Getting the opportunity to interact with dogs and their owners at the park, while at the same time leading the team at Soun Sangkheum in readying the playground daily, made her long time fear of handling and playing with dogs again, disappeared. She is a now proud mother of 6 pups and gives them proper food and training daily. When it comes to Pet Activities and Pet Management, Malou’s dedication is unmatched.
She is not only passionate about dogs but a war veteran and one of the most highly decorated and respected dog trainers in Cambodia.
Ratha's experience is deep when it comes to handling dogs and is backed up by many years of working abroad in European countries during her hay days. Throughout Rotha's life, dogs have fascinated her, and she never knew that she developed skills in handling them at a young age. Having a pure combination of luck, skills, and dedication, she passed CMAC earning a certificate with flying colors. But, her recognition did not end there, as she was also recognized by the Swedish Armed Forces for passing her course on Mine Detecting with a Dog in 2002, and later became a Mine Detection Dog Handling Instructor in the same year. The latest addition to her list of accomplishments was earning her Puppy Activator Certification while serving her time in Sarajevo. Ratha has captured the hearts of many with her work dedication, including dogs and customers alike. She and her husband are now back in Cambodia, spending most of their time playing with their dogs and passing on what they have learned to their family members. She is happy to be associated with Season 1 of Pet Expaw. Knowing that this will be the first of such a large event, she is hoping that more events of this kind will be held in the near future.
