I am a Research Director with the CNRS and INSERM, currently based at the Marey Institute, Université Bourgogne Europe, Dijon. My work spans the development of the first reservoir computing, cooperative human robot interaction, and brain architectures for cognition.
Robot Cognition Laboratory (Dijon, 2019–Present): Currently pursuing research at INSERM U1093 CAPS on human-robot interaction and cooperation. This is part of CAPS Axe C: Human-humanoid interaction
Robot Cognition Laboratory (Lyon, 2003–2018): Formerly established and directed the lab at the Institut des Sciences Cognitives, CNRS U9015, and then at the Stem Cell and Brain Research Institute (INSERM U846) in Lyon, focusing on cooperative human robot interaction and robot self and autobiographical memory with the iCub humanoid.
Foundational Research: PhD in Computer Science from the University of Southern California (USC); former Systems Engineer at NASA/JPL/CalTech.
