Although it makes me sound like a hero from an ‘80s collab between Tom Clancy and Steven Spielberg, I am indeed a former naval officer and archaeologist. A native Angeleno and the son of Argentine immigrants, I'm possibly only alive right now because of the first missile to shoot down another missile in combat. I'd be happy to tell you about it sometime.
I’ve written (and rewritten) feature films for producers such as Gianni Nunnari, Lloyd Levin, Scott Mednick, and Zack Snyder. My supernatural thriller, DEVIL’S GATE, premiered at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival—and it was pretty popular on Netflix during the pandemic, too!
My most recent project, TWILIGHT OF THE GODS, is an animated Norse mythology series for Netflix, on which I was both a writer and the mythology consultant.
I've also penned the stories and screenplays for the console video games Watchmen: The End is Nigh and Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole, both of which were nominated for the Writers Guild of America Award for Achievement in Videogame Writing. (Yes, I got to come up how Nite-Owl II and Rorschach broke up. Is it canon? Hell if I know!)
Lastly, I've been a gaming nerd for several decades. If you look around hard enough, you can find my name on a number of products for a variety of tabletop RPG systems.
