Research Vision

The overall focus is to explore the most essential phenomena upon which various chemical properties of a large number of uninvestigated systems with promising characteristics are strongly dependent. Both state-of-the-art computational techniques and novel theoretical methods are employed to achieve the goal. By this approach, Dr. Mitrasinovic is able to extend the frontiers of contemporary computations in an original fashion. The research vision could yield information inaccessible by other methods or suggest new experimental procedures. From a practical standpoint, the long-term objective of his work is to encourage a stronger interplay between experiment and theory.
