Fellowship of PESI ( FPESI)     

The Chairman & EC of PESI-IAPS are happy to invite applications for awarding of FPESI  ( Fellow of Pediatric Endoscopic Surgeons of India )  - 

OVERVIEW & OBJECTIVES 

This fellowship is designed to advance the  skills and knowledge of surgeons specialising  in paediatric minimal access surgery, ensuring  the highest standards of care for children.

Fellowship application fee : Rs. 15000/- ( in  case a candidate does not qualify in a  particular year, the fee can be carried forward  for another year / attempt)

CRITERIA  

1. Candidates must be a registered member  of PESI & IAPS  

2. Must have completed basic laparoscopic training  from nationally acclaimed centres to  establish competence in Minimal Access  surgery.  

3. For candidates within 5 years of MCh/ DNB qualification a written MCQ based theory examination to  be conducted online by PESI-IAPS ( 8th December 2024) followed by practical hands on session on sidelines of the annual PESI conference.   

EXEMPTIONS & SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS  

The Exec Committee reserves the right to confer the fellowship , without the above  process, to senior PESI members who have more than 5 years of MAS experience and  have contributed majorly to the growth of the speciality. Publications in MAS as first  author or corresponding author will also exempt the person from taking the above  process and the fellowship will be conferred with the appropriate fee.  

Leadership positions in the national body, IAPS, PESI as President, Chairmen, Secretaries will also  exempt the process for the fellowship.
