Kello Solutions ("we", "us", or "our") developed PERSO | DNA Analytics ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, share, store, and protect information when you use our application.

By using PERSO | DNA Analytics, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. About the App

PERSO | DNA Analytics is an AI-powered entertainment and visualization application that allows users to upload or capture a selfie and receive an AI-generated visual analysis, including estimated regional similarities, ancestry-inspired insights, appearance traits, facial characteristics, and personalized visual observations.

The App does not perform DNA testing, genetic testing, biological ancestry testing, or facial identification.

Results are generated from the visual characteristics present in the submitted image and should not be considered scientifically validated determinations of ancestry, ethnicity, or biological origin.

2. Information We Collect

Photos and Face Data

To provide the App's analysis features, you may choose to provide a photograph selected from your device's photo library or captured using your device camera.

The submitted photograph may contain visible facial characteristics, including facial shape, facial proportions, eyes, nose, mouth, jawline, skin appearance, hair characteristics, and other visible features.

We process this information solely to provide the analysis requested by you.

We do not use the submitted photograph to identify you or determine your identity. We do not create facial recognition profiles, biometric templates, or a biometric database.

We do not use photos or facial information for advertising, marketing, or training our own AI models.

Personal Information

PERSO | DNA Analytics does not require account creation and does not intentionally collect:

• Name

• Email address

• Phone number

• User profile information

You can use the App without creating an account.

Device Information

We may automatically collect limited technical information necessary for app functionality, such as:

• Device type

• Operating system version

• App version

• Anonymous usage information

• Crash reports

• Performance information

This information is used to maintain app stability and improve the user experience.

3. How Face Data Is Used

Photos and facial information are used only to:

• Analyze visible facial characteristics;

• Generate ancestry-inspired and regional visual estimates;

• Generate facial feature insights;

• Generate comparison results when you choose to compare two photos;

• Produce the requested analysis and results.

We do not use face data to:

• Identify individuals;

• Authenticate or verify identity;

• Create biometric identifiers;

• Build a facial recognition database;

• Advertise or target advertising;

• Sell facial information;

• Train our own AI models.

4. AI Processing and Third-Party Services

PERSO | DNA Analytics uses the Google Gemini API to process submitted photographs and generate the requested visual analysis.

When you submit a photograph, the image and the information necessary to process your request are securely transmitted to Google Gemini for processing.

Google processes this information on its infrastructure in accordance with the applicable Gemini API terms and data processing requirements. Depending on the Gemini API configuration and services used, Google may temporarily retain requests or responses for limited periods for purposes such as abuse monitoring, security, or legal requirements. 

For paid Gemini API services, Google states that prompts, responses, and uploaded files such as images are not used to improve Google's products. 

We do not intentionally share your photographs with any other third party except service providers necessary to provide the App's requested functionality.

We do not sell, rent, or disclose your photographs or face data to advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.

5. Storage and Retention of Photos

Kello Solutions does not maintain a permanent server-side photo library or user photo database.

Photos submitted through the App are used to generate the requested analysis and are not intentionally retained by Kello Solutions after processing is completed, except where temporary technical processing or security requirements make limited retention necessary.

Because photographs are transmitted to Google Gemini to perform the analysis, temporary processing or retention by Google may occur in accordance with Google's applicable Gemini API terms and technical policies. 

We do not determine or control Google's independent technical retention periods.

If you save or retain photographs or results on your own device, those copies remain under your control and are subject to your device's operating system and storage settings.

6. Deletion of Face Data

Kello Solutions does not maintain a user account or permanent server-side photo library for PERSO | DNA Analytics.

Once processing is completed, we do not intentionally retain submitted photographs on our own systems.

Users may delete the original photographs from their device at any time.

If information is temporarily processed by our service providers, it is deleted or expires in accordance with the applicable provider's retention and deletion policies.

Because we do not maintain a permanent user photo database, there is generally no stored photo account for us to delete upon request.

7. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share information only with service providers necessary to operate the App.

The primary third-party service used to process facial images is Google Gemini API.

Face data is not shared with:

• Advertisers;

• Marketing companies;

• Data brokers;

• Facial recognition companies;

• Unrelated third parties.

We may disclose limited information if required by law, legal process, security requirements, or to protect our rights and users.

8. Facial Images and Biometric Information

PERSO | DNA Analytics processes facial images solely to provide visual analysis requested by the user.

The App does not use facial recognition technology to identify individuals and does not create or maintain biometric templates, facial embeddings, or a biometric identification database.

Although facial images may contain characteristics that could potentially be considered biometric information under certain laws, we do not use them for biometric identification or authentication.

9. How We Use Information

Information processed through the App may be used to:

• Provide requested visual analysis;

• Generate facial feature insights;

• Generate regional and ancestry-inspired estimates;

• Provide photo comparison functionality;

• Improve App functionality and performance;

• Diagnose technical problems;

• Monitor app stability.

We do not use submitted photographs for advertising or marketing.

10. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information transmitted through the App.

Photos are transmitted to our AI processing provider using appropriate technical safeguards.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's Privacy

PERSO | DNA Analytics is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

12. Your Rights and Choices

You can:

• Choose whether to provide a photograph;

• Choose which photograph to submit;

• Delete photographs from your device;

• Stop using the App at any time;

• Contact us regarding privacy questions or requests.

Because PERSO | DNA Analytics does not require user accounts and does not maintain a permanent server-side photo database, there is no persistent user profile or photo library managed by Kello Solutions.

13. International Processing

Because we use third-party service providers such as Google Gemini API, submitted information may be processed on infrastructure located outside your country or the European Economic Area.

Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers and processing.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, technology, or legal requirements.

Any updates will be published within the App or through the relevant app distribution platform.
