Welcome to Pershore Tutor
As you go through this site, you'll find three recurring themes.
1 - You learn stuff by doing stuff.
You can learn about maths and science by going to classes, reading books, doing self-study and checking out BBC bitesize and YouTube videos. These are all necessary and will help you. But you pass exams by having subject knowledge and doing past papers. You need to know the kind of questions asked and how to answer them perfectly.
2 - Build on your strengths and eliminate your weaknesses.
If you're already pretty good at solving linear equations (for example), we'll polish this up until you can do it in a heartbeat and be 100% confident that it's right. If you're unsure about the difference between covalent and ionic bonds, we'll deal with that until you'll wonder what you ever found tricky.
3 - Think your way though things.
You'll learn a very simple system for thinking ... and it's something that you just don't learn in school. The system is:
Think about what you're going to do
Do it neatly and completely
Think about what you did ... so next time you can do it even better and faster.
