Greetings,
Thank you for visiting this site. My name is Phil White, and I created this website. I hope you bookmark the site and come back to it frequently to get the latest updates. More information will be added as time goes on. Please forward the URL to all those you think may have an interest.
I first heard about the idea of "free electricity" around 20-25 years ago. An engineering friend sent me a link to a "free electricity" website. To the best of my knowledge, nobody has ever succeeded in building a free electricity machine. I fully realize that a free electricity machine is believed to be impossible by the vast majority of people, yet some people believe it is possible. I started thinking, "If it was possible, how might it be designed?". This website describes one idea I think has the best chance of success. In order for a machine to be capable of generating free electricity, it must first be capable of perpetual motion so that's why the emphasis here is on a perpetual motion machine.
For those who believe the current laws of physics are the ultimate truth and determine what is possible and impossible, consider the following statement from a published article about the expanding universe, "Since the big bang, the universe has been expanding, but the known laws of physics suggest that the inward tug of gravity should be slowing down this expansion. In reality, though, the universe is ballooning at an accelerating rate." To the best of my knowledge, no person on planet earth knows why the universe is expanding at an accelerating rate. It contradicts the current laws of physics. No one with a thorough knowledge of the current laws of physics would have predicted this accelerating rate of expansion yet actual measurements reveal that it is true.
I want to make one point clear. Before the actual rate of expansion of the universe was measured, everyone with a thorough knowledge of the existing laws of physics would have believed and claimed that what was eventually measured was impossible. Therefore, if a claim appears to violate the known laws of physics, that is not necessarily a definitive proof that that claim is untrue.
I believe every engineering and physics professor at every university would claim that a perpetual motion machine is impossible. It may be impossible, but I think it's fun to build things to see what they do. If the device described will not work, I'd like to know why. I currently do not know why it cannot work and, so far, nobody has shown me why it cannot work other than saying, if it worked, it would appear to violate a known law of physics regarding the conservation of energy. But, as I explained, the fact that the universe is expanding at an accelerating rate also appears to violate the known law of physics regarding gravity so, to me, saying it violates a known law of physics is not necessarily a definitive proof that the thing will not work.
Here's a great video on How big is the universe? And here is a video which shows what is sometimes possible when a person does not know that something is impossible.
I documented the ideas described on this website and confidentially disclosed the ideas to a number of people a number of years ago. I do not believe anyone knows how a proof of concept prototype would behave if one was built. Since the concept was privately disclosed a number of years ago and is now being publicly disclosed via this website, it is no longer patentable (There is a one year grace period for the inventor in the United States). If it has monetary value, whoever is first to market will probably benefit most.
I received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota in the United States of America in 1969.
I would love to build a proof of concept prototype myself, but it is not practical for me to do it because I do not have the mechanical skills, tools, equipment or place to do it. That's the reason I'm publicly disclosing the idea via this website. I'm hoping that some people who do have those resources will find the idea interesting and decide to build one to see how it behaves. If you do decide to build a model, please let me know. The prototype is not complicated. It's a very simple device and should be easy to build for the right person.
I hope, if you try the idea and it has monetary value to you, you will remember where you got the ideas and think about whether or not some sort of compensation might be appropriate.
As you read through this website, a voice within you is going to say "this is nonsense, this can't possibly work, it's not worth spending my time reading this, all intelligent people know this cannot be true, etc.". Please ignore that voice. Instead, read each statement and ask yourself "is that true? do I believe that?" and, as long as the answer is "yes", keep reading. If you believe any specific statement is not true, please send me an email and tell me why you believe that.
If someone can prove this idea will not work, I would like them to send me their proof at the email address below. However, I do not want to receive email claiming the idea cannot work because it violates the known laws of physics because, as stated above, that is not necessarily a definitive proof.
I hope everyone realizes what it would mean if this idea actually worked and a reasonable amount of electricity could be generated for free. It would be historic and capable of generating a whole lot of money for some people. It would also allow people in poor countries to generate electricity and potentially allow people in the US and other countries to get off their electrical grids. It could eventually eliminate the pollution now generated by electrical power plants.
Sincerely,
Phil White
