We are focused on promoting the traditions of the Mayan culture, through dynamic and participatory cooking classes, of local food.

As the cradle of the Mayan Empire, Petén has incredible traditions. We noticed that these aren’t getting enough attention. We’re dedicated to sharing their rich culture, connection to nature, and beliefs. Our focus is on promoting their traditional foods, offering local food cooking class. We strive to work closely with the community to support and preserve their culture as much as we can.

We have a kitchen, with space for 10 people per class, with 2 shifts a day: 10am and 4pm. We include a walking market tour, to buy all the fresh vegetables, seeds and fruits that we are going to use. We have already done over 200 classes...
