So, I should tell you a fun fact! The stream thumbnails are color coded!
So why not learn the different colors now so you can know when your kind of stream is coming up!
Generally the kinds of Let's Plays you'd see, except for the fact they're live.
In other words, there's no catch to these streams, you watch me play a single-player offline game.
These are the streams where you spend all of your hard-earned points on. Chat Attack. This variation of PenguinPlays challenges the streamer against the chat, who spends their points on special commands that cause Penguin to take damage, lose progress, and possibly get a Game Over. Let's see how devious you can be...
These are streams where I play a game that may not be something I have special titles for, and host for fun. These are the simpler types of streams to understand and hop right into.
If you send your code, Penguin will play it on this type of stream! Here, he will give your level a play and provide you with his feedback! Don't make it too hard though... he'll move on after dying enough times.
These streams contain more specific-ingested elements embedded into the gameplay. Or simply, they don't abide by the way you normally play a game. Check the home page again to understand what's going on when a stream launches.
These are streams that take advantage of friended rooms.
In splatoon 3, I will open up online lobbies for people in my pool to grind experience. If enough people play, I can switch over to private battles, and play with customized rules and teams.
In Super Mario Maker 2, I will host a room with quite a few twists to your average Multiplayer Versus streams. Here, you will experience the good, the bad, and WHAT THE Super Mario Bros!?!?
These streams are rare. But for a certain group of people, this might be their favorite. These are streams where I have no objective, and the viewer(s) take over.
Of course, there are limits, you can't make me buy new games, or do anything that could leak future content I keep hidden.
Mr Grizz has high expectations of his employees, and no mercy to those who lack fur! - I should mention... the salmonids don't have mohawks, that's their dorsal fin. The Hazard level gets high as Penguin is an Eggsecutive VP with a harsh grudge against bosses! Sometimes, he even nurtures the lower ranks, or stream viewers all while doing his salmon run job!
These streams happen to commemerate a newly released game that I grind (if possible on my end). These streams break the traditional streaming times and are a perfect opportunity to gather as many PR-200 points as humanly possible. Keep in mind that the stream avatar arena will not change between different red-boxed streams!
I'm sure you're familiar with "Stream Sniping", where a viewer stalks a streamer and tracks them down in-game. But here, I'm the stream sniper! This means these streams are raid trigger happy! Penguin's (usually) not picky on who to raid and snipe, but whenever he finds a target, it's an automatic collaboration!
In these streams, Penguin has the intention of showing off his process of making levels, under the condition that game has a way of letting users build levels.
These streams are set with the objective laid upon innovative ideas, creating creative contraptions or concepts with in game materials I am provided with. Unlike PenguinPlays or Chat Attack, these streams don't serve a story and instead serve to make use out of a game's mechanics.
