I was born and raised in Chengdu, China, a city known for its relaxed lifestyle, world-famous Sichuan cuisine, and giant pandas. At 16, I moved to the UK, where I have now lived for over 12 years. Living between two cultures has shaped my outlook and continues to influence the way I approach both research and everyday life.
Outside of my academic work, I enjoy travelling, hiking, and cooking. I love exploring new places and learning about different cultures, which often sparks new ideas and creativity in my research. I believe that maintaining a healthy balance between work and life is essential for productivity, and I always enjoy connecting with people who share similar interests inside and outside of academia.
Here are some cool places I've been to during my PhD.
Oeschinen Lake, Switerland
Iceland
Malta
Tromos, Norway
Seoul, South Korea
Zhangjiajie, China
