With the increasing popularity of CBD oils, there has been an influx of multiple kinds and forms of CBD in the market. Typically, the CBD comes in three different types; Broad spectrum, full-spectrum, and isolates.
· The Broad-spectrum CBD consists of all the cannabinoids and plant compounds, including terpenes and flavonoids, but does not contain THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol), which can cause intoxication, i.e., get you high.
· The full spectrum CBD comprises all the cannabinoids and all plant compounds. Therefore the full-spectrum CBD oil may have traces of THC. However, if the dose is less and the potency is low, the THC may not be effective. Legally, 0.3% of THC is allowed.
· The isolates are a highly concentrated form of CBD that contains only CBD and are commonly available in the form of crystal or powder. They are the purest form of CBD.
Typically, CBD oils are available in the form of tinctures or drops. Most of the CBD tinctures or oil drops can be used straight away. You can either apply them directly or add them to your food or drink. The oils are customized with flavors too. Therefore, not only are the CBD oils convenient to use, but they can also taste great. The flavors include strawberry, peppermint, lemon, cucumber and, lavender, etc. There are variations in CBD tinctures and oral drops in terms of sizes and concentration level as well. The potency in tinctures can vary from 2.5mg per 10 ml to as high as 2000mg per 10ml. Do consider your experience when you decide which potency to take.
The plus side with the oral drops is that you can experiment with the dose and strength and find out what works for you. If you add them to your food or drink, you can enhance the flavor as well. The tinctures are very effective in bringing fast relief as they are directly absorbed in the bloodstream.
