Membership

Membership of The Pen & Sword Club is by election/invitation and is subject to an annual administration fee of £6. Many members have taken the advantage of a £50 life time fee.

Qualification for Full Membership:

• Service as a Regular or Reservist officer in the UK Armed Forces in a media operations or staff related appointment.
• Service as a Regular or Reservist and subsequent civilian experience in a senior corporate communications, journalism or broadcasting appointment.
• Service as a Government Information Specialist in the UK Ministry of Defence

Honorary Membership:

• Open to NATO media operations staff and individuals deemed to have supported and made valuable contributions to the Armed Forces and Service Charities.

Associate Membership:

• Associate membership for active supporters of the UK military is by invitation from club regional chair persons. For example: The Royal British Legion, Combat Stress and Help for Heroes
