Events To Happen in 2026
April 11th - The party is getting started at Front Street Cafe as they host the limited release of Pemberville's very own wine crafted by Myla and Marcus. Ticketed dinner starts at 5:30 with the public reception starting at 7:30 until close.
Door Decorating Contest - Register your decorated door: May 1st thru May 15th, Contest/Viewing June 1st thru June 30th.
Decorate your front door to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Pemberville and the 250th anniversary of the United States of America.

May 24th through May 31st – Hometown Heroes Memorial Walk at Memorial Park
Veterans, current service members, and first responders will be honored with special signs throughout a special walk throughout Memorial Park.
May 25th – Pemberville’s American Legion Post 183 Memorial Day Program
Veterans and current service members will be honored at this annual event. Names of the honorees from the Hometown Heroes Memorial Walk will have their names read during the program. SAL will have a chicken BBQ following the program.
June 7th – Farm and Field Day at Memorial Park -
The Freedom Auxillary Unit #183 will be preparing "ball game" type lunch available for purchase in the Legion Hall.
The Great Black Swamp Frogs (baseball team from Sylvania) will be coming to Pemberville to play a Civil War Era baseball match using rules from 1860. The committee is in the process of getting community members to play this team. Community members are invited to come and watch this interesting game played with entirely different rules than the present game.
The "Power of Yesteryear" Tractor Club will have an antique tractor show along Memorial Drive during the same event to show the important ties to our rural community.
June 27 – The Pemberville Pool will be the site for a night when families and community members can watch a special movie while floating in the pool.
August 19-22th – · Special Pemberville Free Fair Events – The theme of the fair will give special recognition. Different events, a quilt challenge at the Pemberville Free Fair Quilt Show, and special grant parade participants will honor our anniversaries.

September 13th – A family bike ride through Pemberville and surrounding area. This bike ride will have stops at different areas where families will get information about Pemberville.
September 20th – A silent movie starring the Gish sisters at the Opera House with a speaker and reception to follow. These actors/settings are tied to the State of Ohio. We are applying for a grant from the State of Ohio 250th committee for this.
· Art Displays – It is early in the planning but we hope to be able to provide the community with art displays featuring area artists.
· Village Picnic – A possible picnic or ice cream social for the community in our beautiful park.
· Possible memorabilia/souvenirs for those community members who collect Pemberville memorabilia.
· Information to be given to area teachers about the Pemberville and USA anniversaries that they can present to their classroom.
