Traveler: A user who offers to carry or deliver items.

Shopper: A user who requests items to be delivered.

Service Provider: PeliPort, the owner and operator of the App.

App: The PeliPort mobile application and related services.

Password (encrypted)

Profile picture (optional)

User type (Traveller or Shopper)

c. Trip and Request Information

Travel routes, dates, luggage capacity, item categories

Shopper requests (origin, destination, category, weight, e-comm link)

d. Device Information

IP address, device type, OS

App version and usage data

With user permission, The App collects your device's location, which helps the Service Provider determine your approximate geographical location and make use of in below ways:

Geolocation Services: The Service Provider utilizes location data to provide features such as personalized content, relevant recommendations, and location-based services.

Analytics and Improvements: Aggregated and anonymized location data helps the Service Provider to analyze user behavior, identify trends, and improve the overall performance and functionality of the App.

Third-Party Services: Periodically, the Service Provider may transmit anonymized location data to external services. These services assist them in enhancing the App and optimizing their offerings.

2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

To provide and maintain the service

To facilitate connections between Travelers and Shoppers

To enable chat and notifications

To improve app features and user experience

To respond to inquiries or issues

3. SHARING YOUR INFORMATION

We do not sell your data. We may share information with:

Service Providers (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics)

Law enforcement if required by applicable laws or court orders

We do not share your data with other users except:

When you submit a request (visible to selected users)

Through chat once a trip/request is accepted

Access to data is role-based and limited internally

5. DATA RETENTION

We retain data as long as your account is active. You can request deletion by contacting support. Backups may be retained for limited periods.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

PeliPort is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age.

You can stop all collection of information by the App easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
