Welcome
Hello, I'm Pei Jyun Lu, a job market candidate in the Department of Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics at Michigan State University (MSU). I also pursue my dual degree in the Environmental Science and Policy Program.
Before I joined MSU, I was an associate researcher at Taiwan Research Institute, a think tank in Taiwan. I investigated the impact of natural disasters on the energy sector and worked closely with governments and interdisciplinary teams to design adaptation strategies.
My research revolves around natural resource economics, and my dissertation focuses on the avoidance behavior of natural disasters and public policy analysis. I am also interested in system dynamics, energy economics, and technology adoption. I'm set to graduate in Summer 2024 and look forward to contributing to natural resource economics.
