Co-ops operate from the knowledge that collectivity lets you accomplish more, and that the people create value for an institution should also be able to make decisions about how it operates.

PEEP Announces a Go Fund Me to raise funds for the first Photography Co-Op ever in El Paso.
El Paso, TX – The Photography Enthusiasts of El Paso (PEEP) , established in 1993 as a 501(3)(c) educational arts organization are excited to announce the launch of a Go Fund Me campaign aimed at raising startup funds for the creation of an innovative Photographer's Co-Op. This cooperative venture is designed to be a game-changer for local photographers, providing them with the resources and community support needed to thrive in the digital age.
The goal of the fundraiser is to collect $3,500, which will be instrumental in defraying the costs associated with establishing the Co-Op. These funds will go towards securing a physical location, purchasing essential equipment, and covering initial operational expenses. The PEEP Co-Op is envisioned as a collaborative space where photographers, both amateur and professional, can come together to share knowledge, resources, and foster a vibrant photography community as well as a gallery space where photographers can sell their work.
"We believe that photography is not just about capturing moments, but also about the stories, emotions, and connections that bring us together," said Tim Holt, President of PEEP.
