Other Bowling Clubs:
Most of the surrounding clubs have friendly competitions. A club will put together an agreed number of players (normally 16-24) and play a game against the same number of players from another Club. The game usually has some food and drinks. These are social games and more about meeting fellow bowlers from other clubs rather than any competitive requirement, and are an ideal way to get to learn the sport in a fun friendly environment. Details of these will be on the notice board and you can add your name to any you wish to play in. Invitations to Other Club’s Opens are kept in the folders at the rear of the changing room. If you would like to take part in any opens, it is your responsibility to advise the relevant club via the contact details noted.
