Hobbies and Sports
When I’m not teaching or working on research, I’m usually just hanging out with my wife, daughter, and son. I’m really into any kind of sports -- especially motorsports -- and I love firing up the grill and making steaks for my friends. As a Brazilian, I basically have to love soccer, and I absolutely destroy my nails watching my team, Fluminense.
To balance out the good food (and the stress), I try to stay active. I run and lift pretty regularly. I’ve done a bunch of half-marathons and even ran the NYC Marathon back in 2013. When winter hits and it’s freezing outside, I end up stuck on the boring treadmill like everyone else.
